Girls and boys born after 30 June 1997

Qualification

6 games (entries and re-rentries)

Early bird squads 1-8

2 athletes with highest pinfall from each category who is not already qualified from general standing will qualify for final step 1.

8 athletes per category will qualify for the final steps

Top 6 athletes from general standing + 2 early bird athletes
Athletes not showing up, will not be exchanged to another athlete.

Final step 1

8 athletes will play 6 games starting from scratch
Top 4 will qualify for final step 2
Athletes not continuing will be ranked 5 - 8 according to their standing in final step 1

Final step 2

There will be 3 stepladder matches. Alternating lanes, fresh dressed lane for every match with 5 minutes practice.

Match 1

The athlete seeded 4 and the athlete seeded 3 will play a one-game match
The loser of the match will be ranked 4

Match 2

The winner of match 1 and the athlete seeded 2 will play a one-game match
The loser of the match will be ranked 3

Match 3

The winner of match 2 and the athlete seeded 1 will play a one-game match
The loser of the match will be ranked 2
The winner of the match will be ranked 1

Tournament tie rules

Qualification

The highest positioned athlete will be the athlete scoring the highest last game. If a tie still exists, the highest positioned athlete will be the athlete with the highest second last game etc.

Final step 1

Ties influencing who will qualify for the next final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken. In all other tie situations in step 1-5, a proce-dure similar to the procedure for the qualification will be followed.

Final step 2

In case of a tie, a one-ball roll-off on a full set of pins will be played and repeated until the tie is broken.

Booking policies


  • Booking restriction before
    We urge local bowlers to register for the earliest possible squad(s) to accommodate bowlers from rest of Europe.
    Group bookings require the names of the athletes to be de-livered latest on 1. September 2022. Name changes after the deadline will be considered as cancellations and new book-ings.
    Not meeting that deadline for the delivery of names means that the booking is considered as completely can-celled.
